We are in the process of CAD drafting, and making CNC tool paths for the production of a  3" scale, 7 1/2" gauge, Vulcan Duplex Steam Locomotive. There were 7 original engines built in, multiple gauges, from standard down to 30"narrow gauge. This is a 0-4-0 0-4-0 "Duplex" Locomotive having two, 0-4-0 trucks, each with there own pair of cylinders. The outline , as seen in the original prints shown, is similar to other construction, logging, and mining locomotives like the Shay, Climax or Heisler type. This Engine is unique in that it is powered by four cylinders and that each truck can be controlled individually. Also the rear truck exhaust can be "sent" to the front stack for draft, or to a rear stack, heating the fuel and water. This gives a opportunity to have a "double header sound" in a single engine.

This little critter is being built as a Sit inside loco. Can be powered with electric or gas engine. The proto type will be built in the next couple months.
