We just completed this 1905 Iroquois steam roller. Email for Exibitions

This loco was mostly complete at one time. Unfortunately there were many problems with the chassis, as well as changes to the boiler. This required the whole locomotive to be disassembled and rebuilt from the bottom up again.

Changing the exhaust on Karl's White Pass engine

Nice and quiet, down low

Repositioned filter and re-routed exhaust before heat shields were installed to solve an over heating issue on this kabota powered RMI loco

A new track diamond for Bitter Creek Western R.R.

This crossing should out last all of us.

We were asked to paint these after sitting in the weather for years. They were a bit of a mess when we picked them up.

Ernest really gets into his work!

Lots of oxidation and rusted steel parts cleaned up!

Ready for service, all paint,no vinyl here

Still needs the frame and details

Quite rusted and oxidized

The hard 3 done, 6 cars to go

La Condessa is San Luis R.R. Museum's private car. This is the side door for loading into the original kitchen and is in rather poor condition

There was not much to save here, So we started from scratch.

New parts coming together.

Door ready for paint and final assembly.

The door frame, after removing the cover.

Assembling the frame

Lots of pieces to make up the patch.

This side is all patched up, on to the other side.

Ed,s 0-6-0 is here for a little tightening. Lots of movement on the rod bushing here.

Not as straight as it should be here! Not sure what caused this, possibly when one of the axles locked up in the past, or a derail?

And the valve gear linkage isn't great either. I guess thats to be expected after 40 years of service.

The axle center and the pin center should be in line with the square

Well, the engine rolled in here. Now after some new bushings it won't! After some head scratching and measuring I pulled the axles and did a quick quartering check. Can you believe it rolled before? WOW!

The key slot with the wheel in the correct position.

Here she is! Ready for another few decades of work.

Awaiting spark plugs. Some plugs, wires, a coil and a battery and hopefully it will run.

The Holt engine as recieved. Doug's father, didn't get to finish this Holt engine before passing, although it did keep him busy for some time prior.

See the Holt running on this video at www.youtube.com/watch?v=kDl_FDUqkiU
